Souls of the Unknown
Greetings, young traveler! Looks like you've stumbled upon our little slice of heaven here in Sotu. Don't worry, we already know what you are, you're not like those common humans, you're something more. As fellow creatures, we welcome you. There's other around here just like you and I, many of us actually. We are right under your nose. But shh... Don't give us away now, we really don't need humans finding out. It's our little secret...

Welcome to Sotu v.2! An all level supernatural creature role play taking place in a haven built just for the supernatural though we coexist secretly with mortals. 100 years ago, war plagued our once beautiful home, turning everything upside down till nothing but rubble and bodies remained. Life had seemed cease... The four clans, exhausted and thin in numbers, had finally given up and declared a truce between themselves, vowing never to go to a war so deadly as before, to make sure that their one and only home flourished once more.

And now, Sotu has done just that, expanding far past it's original borders and returning to it's once majestic state. Mortals have since migrated here as well, providing an adequate food supply and excellent cover for those returning to their human forms. Life has returned normal for most though old blood still has yet to allow ancient grudges grow.

Its up to you where we go from here. Keep the peace, or bring war back to our lands...

Faolan nodded in agreement, chuckling, yes so far it had been the best and he knew that he couldn't disappoint her next time or the time after that. Stretching his legs a bit, he moved into a more comfortable position on his side his arms still wrapped around her slender yet curvaceous form, nuzzling into the crook of her neck and placing a few kisses on her soft skin."I love you, Em." Fao told her with a happy sigh of content, a purr-like growl coming from him. It was true, he cared for her more than she would ever know and he would do his best to express just how much he loved her.

Emily curled into Fao a smile coming to her lips. Emily could never express how much she loved Fao. Because in truth, she loved him a lot. It was a deep type of love and despite the dates she went on with other men before coming back down here, no one compared to Faolan. She pressed her lips to his throat before relaxing comfortably. "I love you to Faolan. Always and Forever." She said softly and with a sleepy yawn did she finally go to sleep.

(Just gonna skip to the next mornin')
Faolan slept wonderfully through the night and felt completely refreshed upon awakening the next day, the bright morning sun causing him to stir among the sheets being careful not to awaken the slumbering she-wolf beside him. A wide smile crept to his features as he watched her sleep, Fao leaned over to place his lips gently on her forehead before he slipped out of the bed and gathered up his only other fresh outfit to change into after his shower. There was one little store he wanted to go to before Em woke up if he had enough time, if not, he could always go another time when he was out and about alone. In all honesty, he changed his mind about waiting, which may sound a bit bipolar now like his brother, but ever since everything had been going right for him Fao didn't feel so down anymore. Quickly scrubbing up and changing, he quietly moved across the apartment and started to head out.

The twittering of birds caused Emily to wake up, she sat up a smile on her face. She felt refreshed, her muscles hurt only a little bit. As rough as they had been she expected to be a lot more sore. Emily stretched her arms above her head and yawned making a squeaking noise as she did. She had noticed that Fao was gone, but she wasn't worried. She walked to the bathroom picking out a new outfit she had and slipped into the still warm shower. She began showering and quietly sang to herself as she washed her body. As she finished washing off and got out she looked in the full length mirrors and saw all the bruises he had made and smiled. She touched her throat feeling the tender marking. Her smiled turned into a grin as she was happy that he had done what he had. She got dressed and walked back out to the bathroom and began looking around for things to start packing.

Zipping up his hoodie, he strolled on down the street to a fast pace hoping that he could get what he was looking for then get back before she knew he was gone, Fao doubted he would accomplish that but he had an excuse lined up. Shivering only slightly, he brushed his moist bangs out of his eyes and ducked into a small little jewelers store, now he didn't have a single clue upon going in so this was going to be difficult. Sure he had done this once before with Isis but he was no expert. Long story short, he managed to get things done thanks to the man working the shop and swiftly left for the apartment once more, his wallet significantly lighter but it was worth every penny. Smiling to himself as his hand remained tucked inside of his pocket clasped around the small box, he climbed the stairs up to the third level of the apartment building and quietly entered, creeping across the living room back to the bedroom.

Emily was humming a tune that sounded a lot like something from a tv show, but it was hard to place which one. She was folding up their cloths and placing them in marked boxes. She taped up one box that said Faolan's Clothes and pushed it over the next wall. She got up and walked to the mirror and pinned up her hair. In the silence she heard the door open and close and she smiled. She grabbed the muffins from the dresser top and the coffee. She turned as Fao entered the room. "Fao. Breakfast?" She smiled brightly at him her eyes shining. (I was expecting drugs lol)

(Lol, I was going to originally have it be drugs)
He had not expected her to be up and about, at least hadn't anticipated it but took the possibility into consideration, Fao thought he was quiet enough but when Em popped up and offered him breakfast he jumped slightly and gave a nervous laugh."Uh sure, thanks" Keeping his hand in his pocket hiding his latest purchase he tried to be nonchalant as he pushed further into the apartment towards the smell of fresh food, licking his lips. Faolan offered a bright smile back and gave her a quick peck on the lips as he examined the muffins and coffee."Mmm, smells great, sure it tastes good too."

Emily hadn't meant to scare him when she suddenly popped up like she did. Emily noticed his slight nervouness but she was not to worried once he gave her a soft kiss. She smiled at him and sighed contently. "Ive already had two. They are quite good. Ive been packing for a while now. I have most of our cloths pack and our stuff. it wasn't to hard." She smiled at him and pecked his lips back runing her fingers through her pinned up hair.

Taking one in his free hand, he devoured it in two large bites then went for another and did the same, leaving not a crumb behind and he was very pleased with how they turned out. Faolan licked his lips and complemented the chef, smirking at her. Listening further, he gave a nod and turned his eyes onto the boxes already all packed and sealed neatly, she got it done faster than he would have. Nodding again, he looked back in time to get a quick kiss and pulled his arm around her,"Dont got much here, shouldn't take long to get it all over to the knew house." Finally drawing his other hand from his pocket,"I think we should get a big house with plenty of rooms and stuff, ya know. Big enough for parties and ooh! A mancave! I've been wanting one for a while." Faolan chuckled as he rambled on.

Emily leaned into his embrace and chuckled slightly at his words. She was glad he liked the muffins, she inf"Parties and a man cave?" [/color] She let out a soft laugh and turned in his embrace giving his mouth a tender kiss. She laid her forehead against his, wrapping her arms around his back and hugging him close. "Sounds perfect. A big house yes. With plenty of room." She kissed his lips again before pulling away and going back to the boxes, stacking them up. She dusted off her hands. "That's honestly all of it." She turned to him excitment on her face. She was happy to move, it made her feel better to be in a more stable home.

Oh yeah, plenty of parties and of course a man cave, he had always wanted one and never actually had one built, it was on his list of things to accomplish. Faolan wanted one with a gaming station, an amazing bar and of course a place where a band could set up and play, more like he could play actually. Any guitar or bass or even drum set he put his hands on he could play, that and he was one hell of a singer/screamer. All of this had him just excited as ever and he was more than eager to start heading over, Fao kissed her back and pulled away gently with a grin before he went on over to help with the boxes she had packed."I mean, if thats okay with you. Any house you want will be ours, no questions."

Emily picked up two of the boxes and walked to the other room setting them down and turning to him. "Of course. If the houses are as big as Dante made them sound, i mean Dante's house was beautiful, well of course." She sighed happily and looked around their "apartment" it was a good home. She leaned against the couch and turned to him.

Fao moved the rest of the boxes out with the others, they were pretty light and would be easy to carry way out into the woods where they planned on going. Hell, he'd carry the ones she had too if she allowed him to. Following her, he took his place next to Em and smiled, nodding at her words."Only the best for my she-wolf." Leaning down he snatched her lips in his, seizing them in a longer kiss before he gently relinquished them."I'll get you anything your heart desires and more.''

Emily wasn't to worried about the boxes they wouldn't be to hard to carry and it would be good to have the exercise. Emily looked up at Fao as he walked in and a smile came to her lips. Her heart thumped harder in her chest, just at him entering the room. It was strange to feel this way but it was true in her heart...she loved the man that stood before her. She wrapped her arms around him as he walked over, and kissed his lips back pressing them tightly to his. She pulled away to breath once the kiss was over and smiled up into his blue eyes. "I have all that i want. I have you Fao." She whispered softly standing on her tiptoes for another kiss.

There couldn't be any sweeter of words than the ones that left her mouth in a gentle whisper, his smile grew and his eyes swelled up to show the love that he felt. It may not have been the first time he had heard those words but it was the first time that he knew for a fact that they were absolutely true and always would be. If Isis truly meant it, she wouldn't have fucking left without a word. Emily made him feel so loved and really wanted, honestly more so than his family whom majority saw him only as a disappointment. Fao wrapped his arms right around her as her lips crushed against his own passionately, his eyes closed and held his beloved close as they shared a long and deep kiss.

Emily felt his arms wrap around her and she was a little surprised. She wrapped her arms around him tightly and kissed him deeply. The kiss felt like magic to her, maybe because she finally admitted to him that he was all she needed or just that..she was in love. His lips were soft against hers and she pressed her lips hard to his a soft moan escaping her. When she could no longer breath she pulled away letting out a long breath. "I love you Faolan Lucian." She whispered up at him.

Gradually he began to lose his breath though he wasn't wanting to be the first to pull back, Em was the one to do that for him as she could no longer breath either. Taking a breath after their lips disconnected, the lycan male smiled wide at her words and gently pressed his forehead to her own,"And I'll always love you, Emily Fane." Fao whispered back meaning every bit of it. Some would call him foolish for this, but, he was far more than convinced that he had found the one, the only girl in the world that deserved all of his love and would have his heart forever. Faolan pressed his lips to her skin on her forehead before slowly pulling back to stare loving at her, stroking her soft cheek. There could only be one thing to possibly make his life better than it already was, and that would be his little boy, Grayson, if he was here with them his life would be complete again.

Re: Downtown Area

Post by Emily Fane on December 9th 2013, 9:07 am

Emily looked into his eyes, her own glittering. A shiver ran down her spine as he spoke her full name and pressed her soft body to his, pulling him into a hug. Emily wasn't sure how she could feel this way so quickly, but she felt a deeper connection between her and Fao. She felt drawn to him all the time, it was such a strange connection. It felt good to be connected to him this way, like her whole body was drawn to him. Her soul perhaps? Could this mean that they were in fact soul mates? Emily knew as soon as the word popped into her head that it was true, they had to be for her to feel this way. And if she felt it she knew that Fao had to of been feeling it. She felt his lips touch her forehead and she gave a small blush looking up into his eyes and pecked his lips softly. If they were to get married, and have...another child...Emily knew it wouldn't be the same. She missed Grayson with all her heart, and every night she prayed that Fao's family had him and not the creep that bit her. "I hate to say it, because i wanna stay like this forever..but we should start heading towards our new house." She kept her arms wrapped around him and a small quirky smile on her face as she turned towards the couple of boxes that they had.

Before, he had vowed to take his time with this relationship due to the fact that Fao had just gotten out of a rotten one with Isis whom just got up and left without reasoning nor did she bother to even let him know she was running off. Though now, his mind was beginning to change about going slow the more and more time he spent with Em, he was reminded of just how much he truly cared and loved her. He wasn't going to mess this up, no, not like last time, Faolan planned on making things right for once, he did just make the most important purchase of his life for when the moment was right. Listening attentively as she spoke the male gave a slow nod and half frowned, he didn't want to let going either, but, they did need to get situated in their new home. Home... Their new home No more bills, no more small apartments, no worries at all. His arms slowly slipped off of her form as she moved away to go grab some boxes and soon he too was right behind her to do the same, easily picking up the few that she had left and adjusted them in his arms. Faolan cleared his throat,"After you, babe.

Emily may not admit it but she really was happy to go to their new home. Its not that she wanted to feel free, because she did feel free around Faolan..it was the feeling of having to not worry. Emily never thought being in a pack would feel so good, feel so right. It was like another puzzle piece clicking into place. Emily smiled at Fao, she could he was thinking about something but she wondered what. She paused looking him over a small smile on her face, before she picked up the boxes and walked out of the apartment and down the stairs. Once outside she waited for Fao.

Re: Downtown Area

Post by Zoey Carlile on January 13th 2014, 8:37 pm

"Un! Deux! Trois!" Ms. Abel lifted up a slender finger as she spoke in french, watching the little girls prance around the room, though her eyes trained on one in particular. And Zoey was aware of this. She knew she drew attention from others a lot. But it's not like she tries. The girl is blind, all while dancing like she can see everything.  It was easy to blend in..sometimes. When visitors gaze into the ballet studio, they don't see a five year old disabled girl. They saw a little thing wearing a white leotard accompanied with a fluffy white tutu, whom loved to dance. Which was true. Zoey loved the thrill of twisting and turning, spinning 'round an' round while her long hair whipped behind her. "Zoey!" Wriggling rather shyly, Zoey stopped leaping into the air to wonder near the barres. She knew what time it was, and how Ms.Abel picked off girls one by one to have them stretch before practicing more.

Lifting a leg onto the mini barre, Zoey let out a huff of breath before she bent sideways, groaning. These stretches always distressed her. She was so sure if she would bend the wrong way, then her leg would snap off. But so far, that never happened. Letting out another huff, Zoey switched legs and repeated her earlier actions. She waited for about 50 seconds before she stood still, biting down on her peach colored lip while she waited for any comments from Ms.Abel. "Zoey, are you practicing at home?"  Ms.Abel asked, her thick french accent piercing Zoey's ears, bringing her back to reality. Nodding quickly, the blind girl held up a hand, showing two fingers. "Ms, I practice two times a day! I swear it!" The girl was in no mood today to be scolded. She just wanted to go home now. She's been here for some hours, and her little legs were beyond tired. Zoey was surprised she was still standing, actually. "Alright! But practice harder! La pratique rend parfait! And you want to be perfect, don't you?" Ms.Abel's dark orbs glared down at Zoey, which sent little shivers down her back. The woman always frightened the girl. Clapping her old hands together, Ms.Abel gave a whistled. "We are done for today! Remember everyone; La pratique rend parfait!"

Zoey really liked the place, but she really wished the eighth rule of Ms.Abella's Studio didn't have to do with parents. You weren't allowed to leave without an adult. No one knew Zoey took ballet, except maybe Raven, but she was off doing adult things..like searching for pregnancy tests, but Zoey had no other to pick her up. It was her job to walk back to Raven's little house looking thing, or, she could head over to Samantha's. Either way, she was on her own. Grabbing her bag, Zoey slipped outside with an unknown parent, before she ran down the sidewalk, feeling the wind blow around her hair as she dodged ice and other people.  Stopping with a crowd of people, Zoey breathed in the crisp air as they all walked across the street....Now, the little girl would never had ever imagined something so horrible so ever happen to her. She may have had her heart broken so many times, but physical pain was something she had never experienced. Zoey wasn't sure anyone could have predicted what was about to happen.

Half way across the street, a black car came speeding around the corner, and much like the barrel of a gun, pointed it straight at her. Everyone around her screamed, running in opposite directions while the little thing stood there. She couldn't see! She didn't know what was happening. All she heard were screams, women and men, some children. They all knew what was happening, yet the blind girl didn't. Not until metal collided with bones, and Zoey was tossed in the air, and landed back on cement with a sickening crack. Just like that. The car sped away, and everyone stared with wide, watery eyes, as blood began to pour around the girl, especially around her head..almost like a halo. Zoey lay there, her heart beating faster then she ever thought it could. "Wh-" She couldn't finish. It hurt alot to attempt to move her head. Blinking through tears, Zoey tried to smell for Sam..Dante or Raven, but the only thing she could smell was copper. Someone from afar screamed for an ambulance, but Zoey tried to wave the voice off. No, I'll heal soon..but that would be confusing to others. Breathing in air, Zoey choked on some of her own blood before she began to fully break down, sobbing and crying out her Sammy.

Re: Downtown Area

It was a good feed. A sweet, passionate one.
That said, the blonde had not disappointed Keiran, but now he was done with her. Just another day, just another prey. He had other things to do.
The woman, still bleeding profusely from the punctures in her neck, had slumped into unconsciousness within his arms. Keiran stared at her with a revitalized gleam in his amber eyes, her body lolling against him, and he considered what he should do with the body. Technically she was still alive, he could hear the beat of her heart, but a drained and fainted person was more or less like a corpse to him. Letting his eyes roam around the alley he had earlier ushered her into, he properly took in his surroundings for the first time and supposed that this would be a satisfactory place to abandon her. With a curious sort of gentleness, he knelt and sat her up against the brick wall, brushing her fringe over her eyes to conceal her state. Keiran glanced down at the wound he had inflicted upon her neck, hesitated, but leaned forward to clean up a little better. He really couldn't much help it anyway; the redolence and taste of her blood was rather sweet. Lapping up the smears splattered about her neck with a careful slowness, he pulled only back when the flow had stopped. Now much satisfied, the vampire positioned her longer tresses of hair so that they obscured the bite from view, and made to stand, looking down at her from beneath long, jet bangs.
"Thank you for your time, miss. It was much appreciated."
With nothing more than a lingering downward glance, he pivoted on his boot and walked out of the alley, making for the streets again. Without a halt in his stride, he efficiently removed the crimson stains from his mouth, tugged at the sleeves and collar of his jacket, and ensured he was in a suitable state before moving into the open. Instantly the dank but glistening and blaring vista of the Downtown open estate lay out before him. From the mouth of the alley, he glanced both ways down the sidewalk and wide tarmac-ridden road, before striding casually to the left. Escaping the previous situation without a hint of suspicion or unease, he granted himself a smug grin before walking further and further away from the mess he had caused.
Finally, he came upon a desecrated bench on which he decided to sit and rest, sparing his time with great ease. He made himself comfortable on the cold, splintered wood, spangled orange eyes closing a moment whilst he became akin to the scents about him. Human mostly, some interesting or unique smells were prominent in the air, but there existed nothing for him to pursue as of yet. Sighing quietly and hooking his arms behind the backing of his seat, he settled his gaze on a distant point, a traffic light whose red light flickered constantly, and lost himself to a wistful, relaxed expression.
If he had time, he just might as well kill it.

Re: Downtown Area

It was kind of strange to watch another in their natural habitat. She had been perched on the highest point of the roof, overlooking the alleyways - a wonderful view, really - for a solid hour, and nothing interesting had managed to occur until he had decided to wander on through with his snack. Humans weren’t often known for taking residence on inaccessible roofs, but that was the joy in her talents; she had a means of getting places. There was a certain element of anticipation in the air as she watched him kill ruthlessly, mercilessly, and yet such sadism did little to darken her innocent eyes. She was a curious soul, easily intrigued, lost to her absent wonder, and thus it did not affect her to witness the death of another as it probably should have. Abnormal creatures were not unusual in this part of the world, and though she had yet to experience the ways of a vampire, it still made her fingers tightly cringe to the sharp edges of the roof, digging into her delicate skin, as she knelt slightly over the edge to get a better look. Maybe she should have helped her? It would have been the nicer thing to do. Perhaps it wouldn’t be smart to try and cross a vampire - unnatural strength and all - but if worst came to worst she could take to the air and soar away unscathed. Well, it was too late for misguided meddling now. She was done for, and any help she offered her now would do nothing but earn her a life in the hospital if she was lucky - few would return from that kind of blood loss.

When he discarded the corpse and took to the open streets, she found a frown instinctively entwining itself across her lips, as though she had a hopes of protesting that the show continue. She huffed when he quickly took around the corner, finally standing up and brushing off the dirt on her legs before she leaped down to - what from the common eye - would have appeared to be her doom. But such was not the case. She landed on graceful feet, molded to suit the ways of a bird, ducking a lethally pointed beak underneath her pile of clothes and surfacing once more in the form of a girl. She now stood facing the dead carcass of a female that the vampire had left behind, analyzing it through the shield of thoughtful silver eyes, brushing stray ginger hairs away from her face. He didn’t do a good job in making sure she wasn’t in sight - eventually the rotten smell of flesh would become so powerful as to linger into the streets - but for now it wasn’t a problem of his, and to much of her conscience’s guilt, it wasn’t hers either. She lifted a hand into the air, as though to wave her goodbyes to a body that could not reply, before elegantly twirling in her place, dust kicking up around her, and taking her leave from the “crime scene”  before somebody could catch her on it and point fingers and place blame.

She took the same turn that she saw the vampire take earlier, scoping out the crowd for a sight of him out of curiousity. She didn’t react to danger in the same way as the majority. Most would happily escape from the clutches of death and never look back, but she was far too involved in that poor girl’s death to turn a blind eye. She had, after all, observed like it was this week’s entertainment (she might as well have had some popcorn in hand). For that, she thought she owed her wasted life a petty explanation, even if the explanation would likely surpass nothing but satisfying hunger.. It was just like her to do a good deed for somebody that would never thank her for it. Celeste took down the street, her body swinging playfully and joyfully as she went along. She waved to a couple strangers that met her eyes, offering the occasional smile and polite hello, but otherwise kept her eyes focused on seeking out that vampire. She didn’t fully understand what she was getting herself into. For all she knew, he could snap her neck before she had a chance to take flight and, well, that’d be the end of that. She hadn’t ever pictured losing her life at the hands of a vampire; their touch was so dead and cold. But not every end could be easy and painless, and a snap of the neck would be better than the blood-draining that the innocent girl from the alleyway had faced. She supposed it’d be best to stay in the crowd - that was if she could even find him.

Speak of the Devil.

He was hunched over on a nearby bench, eyes closed, seemingly relaxed if she was going to pinpoint it. Not necessarily the way that she would mourn a death - did vampire’s even mourn? - but each to their own. Before she could even spare herself a decent plan, she was trotting over to where he sat with a skip in her step, settling behind the bench and kneeling over it, her arms folded on top of it so that she could rest her head as she waited for him to open his eyes. Every few seconds she looked to him from the corners of her eyes, quiet and still in posture, unflinching and, despite the circumstances, free of nerves. She wasn’t scared of him, or of what he could do. Maybe her abilities weren’t as threatening, but she didn’t need them to be; her intention was never to scare or to harm anybody. “I spy with my little eye. . . a killer. Watch out, society. You’re in danger.” Chuckling softly, she waited a few moments for this to sink in, batting her eyes like a young child. “Any guesses? I can help if you’re at a loss.”
