Souls of the Unknown
Greetings, young traveler! Looks like you've stumbled upon our little slice of heaven here in Sotu. Don't worry, we already know what you are, you're not like those common humans, you're something more. As fellow creatures, we welcome you. There's other around here just like you and I, many of us actually. We are right under your nose. But shh... Don't give us away now, we really don't need humans finding out. It's our little secret...

Welcome to Sotu v.2! An all level supernatural creature role play taking place in a haven built just for the supernatural though we coexist secretly with mortals. 100 years ago, war plagued our once beautiful home, turning everything upside down till nothing but rubble and bodies remained. Life had seemed cease... The four clans, exhausted and thin in numbers, had finally given up and declared a truce between themselves, vowing never to go to a war so deadly as before, to make sure that their one and only home flourished once more.

And now, Sotu has done just that, expanding far past it's original borders and returning to it's once majestic state. Mortals have since migrated here as well, providing an adequate food supply and excellent cover for those returning to their human forms. Life has returned normal for most though old blood still has yet to allow ancient grudges grow.

Its up to you where we go from here. Keep the peace, or bring war back to our lands...

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Sam's sweat glistened against her forehead and the bottom of her hair was drenched in the same liquid. Wearing a pair of black spandex with those new Nike Light hair shoes that were a light blue. Hiding her breast was a sports bra the same light blue color of her shoes. Breathing heavily she just ran past the waterfall and contemplated on whether or not to go in. She decided on her way back that's just where she would go. Her pace gradually got faster and soon she realized she was at the border. One foot infront of the other she jumped easily over a tree trunk landing on the balls of her feet, knees bent. She continued to run as soon as she got her balance. Headphones blasting heavily to a upbeat music she began to run with the beat. Her gaze on the ground and then pulled up, running swiftly along the edge of the border as if there was an invisible force field. Sam was mostly alone in the world... However, she used to be the social butterfly and really sweet. That was... Before her father died and her mother, well she was to busy with everything to even notice the littlest Deadwood. Her father meant everything to her, she loved him and when he died her whole world just fell apart.

That's when she paused her breath going in and out in short deep pants. Her bright silver gaze looked around until she stuck her nose up testing the air. Another was among her and she began to get a strong feeling as to turn around and go back. This smell wasn't werewolf, she smelt again, it was something strange a mutant perhaps and it was something she'd never smelt before. Her gaze widened and she booked it away from the area she was at. All of a sudden as she was trying to get away from all panic and fear she was feeling she ran into someone and this someone or something was large and pretty strong. She had brought him with her down a hill and soon enough as they circled eachother on the way down she ended up on the bottom. Eyes wide and surprised she had to blink a few times in order for the sun to adjust, his long dark hair and slightly unshavened face made him look rough but also pretty hot if she didn't dislike him so much then maybe she would consider going after the male. Though her gaze locked against his own orbs and she sucked in a deep breath.

"Hawthorne?!" She snuffed, "Why are you out here?" Sam's gaze was still a little startled. Something strange was out there and it scared her... A lot. She shook her head, heart pounding and breath still panting she grumbled, "You can get off of me now. She barked shuffling under his weight as soon as he got up, well, if he got his lazy ass up. Her bright silver hues slipped towards the direction she was coming from, and she closed her eyes trying to regain her breath and once she did she looked at the other, "Where are you going?" She asked, her head tilted as the leaves began to tussle her hair. The snow was slightly on the ground but spring was in the air. Ugh, spring meant mating season and that's so not what she was looking for. Especially since her grandmother was coming to visit soon. Great, just great.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on April 12th 2014, 5:02 pm

Dante hoped that the woman hadn't arrived yet at the Coffee Shop, or at least she hadn't been waiting very long for him to show up. It would be quite embarrassing for him if he had just made her sit there for quite some time. Never had he left a lady waiting and he was not about to do so today and break his streak. After leaving the Lucian residence and checking up on them, he decided to take a short cut into town which he hoped wasn't completely flooded out by all the snow melting. The mud would certainly ruin his shoes. Dante didn't have the time to turn back and go home to change his shoes or anything. With quick steps he hurried off through the camp towards the other end where the woods thickened, taken by surprise as another form collided with his own larger one. The two tumbled down a hill and all he could think about was how dirty his jacket and jeans were becoming as they rolled right down to the bottom. The male groaned, slightly dazed but quickly shook himself from it and looked up the hill, then back down. He had never expected that, especially just who had took smacked into him. Gaze snapping to the female's as she sharply barked his name, his gaze widened visibly and he just stared down into her moon-like eyes. You could say that he was a bit distracted.

Dante hadn't realized that he had the girl pinned under him till she said something and quickly cleared his throat with a small smirk though it faded as soon as he rolled off of the attractive little thing. Sure she was mouthy and they didn't exactly see eye to eye on things but he had to admit that Sam was easy on the eyes. Dusting himself off he muttered softly and shook his head at the dirt that still clung to his clothes, he was forced to head back now and that would make him even more late than he already was. Dante continued to grumble as she spoke though soon quieted himself down enough to respond to her question."I have to meet someone in town and I'm running a bit late." He told the she-wolf in an easy tone, brushing his bangs back. His gaze slipped back up to her own then to all the leaves caught in her hair which caused him to chuckle a bit."You missed a spot... Sorry for running you over, by the way."

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Samantha Deadwood on May 14th 2014, 6:15 pm

Sam’s eyes slowly slipped upwards and suddenly they were locked against his own, she couldn’t look away and yet she had no desire to. Here she was with a man she despised and who could annoy her with only his presence. As she studied him he seemed to have been lost in the silver hues that reminded others of a rain storm or the essence of the full moon itself. Her expression was a glare but it soon had lighten due to the fact that his eyes, which were a beautiful shade of icy blue, it reminded her of mountains and the way some of them held that tint when you looked at it just right. Her breath faltered for a moment as he leaned over to push himself off of her. Gaze traveling back into a dark expression she gave him a side-long glance and began to pick the leaves that had tangles in her hair, gripping one by the stem she pulled it along her pony tail snatching a few strands on the way. Her gaze went back towards the other as he seemed to just be starring at her, feeling insecure she tilted her head to the side and gave him a quizzed look before placing a small fist against the side of her hip. Looking at his clothes and the way he mumbled about the sudden dirt and grime that had been plastered on his jeans and shirt. Due to the fact the snow had been melting the ground wasn’t favorable with clothes, especially nice ones. He seemed to be nervous and she realized he had been checking his watch a little too often. Why was the sudden pang of jealousy biting against her neck? Especially after he had pronounced he was heading into town to meet somebody she had to fight back a growl. Just who was this someone? It had to be a she or someone he wanted to impress otherwise he wouldn’t be making a huge fuss about the whole ordeal. She struggled to hide the flash of jealousy in her eyes but luckily she had gotten it under control she just hoped he didn’t get a chance to see that little falter of her emotions. Not to say she had feelings for the alpha but she hated how the other’s attention just seemed so focus on this important “meeting” if she could even call it that. The jealousy big bit again sinking its teeth against her neck as she snuffed out a puff of air her chest slowly managing to puff up in pride, ”Oh,” She started out her tone thick with annoyance, So… who is the poor soul that has to accompany you for God knows how long.” Of course she was trying to make it seem like she wasn’t jealous so she had to make it seem insulting.

Soon enough she felt her cheeks began to grow hot as a light pink blushed crossed on her features. Her hands going up in her hair as she tried to pull the remaining foliage off of her head, she thought she may have twigs and dirt forever. Giving up she was taken aback by his apology, why was he being so nice? It confused her but also was quite flattering but she wished they would return flinging insults at each other. Her mind raced what if this “meeting” had started a new spark of Dante’s and now he was all interested in the women he had, she could tell, a small ounce of feelings for. Stretching out her muscles and leaning back hips squared in front of her so she wasn’t too still she adjusted herself and gave a small sniff in distaste. If they did hit it off where would that leave their relationship of course they fought like cats and dogs but that was because they were both alphas. Born to lead instead of follow orders, at least that’s why they were at each other’s throats all the time. Neither wished to submit due to the blood that coursed through Sam’s veins she was a leader and always will be. Mind returning to the situation on hand she huffed lowly and then sank her head a little, he wouldn’t have time for their quarrelsome behavior and she would be looking for another toy to mess with. She shook off the thought, that wasn’t going to happen she would chase this female off especially if she was a mere mortal she could easily scare her hell even kill her. She smirked a little and then she paused as she took in a scent, something was out there and suddenly she realized what it was. Eyes wide she didn’t have much time as she shifted in place of a girl that stood on two feet was a charcoal colored wolf. Her gaze was sharp and ears pinned back as she snarled towards the bushes.

Just then a large grizzly decided to make his self known by giving a loud roar, it filled Sam’s ears. His hot breath assaulted her nostrils, fueling her bloodlust. She always welcomed war, but in battle her passion rose unbidden. Behind her stood Dante and the bears gaze went from her to him, as if getting the feeling she quickly pushed Dante away as a paw rose and swiped towards him. Instead of his paw hitting the male it back handed and swatted Sam flinging her into the air her body skidding against the earth. She snarled and shook off the impact instantly crouching between Dante and her she gave a snarl once more at the larger predator, daring it to get passed her. She crouched low, muscles tensed, ready to strike. The grizzly rose onto its hind legs. She held her ground. Eyes fueled she snapped her jowls towards the beast as she stood directing in the way of Dante, of course he could shift but protecting the pack was in her instincts and Dante, like it or not, was her pack.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on May 24th 2014, 10:20 am

Dante continued to fuss over his dirtied clothes not liking the fact that this would set him back on schedule and he didn't want to make the woman wait any longer than she probably already was. If he went back to the house now and changed, then that would waste more time that he didn't have. It wasn't like it was just a little dirt that he could easily hide either so he would be forced to make an extra trip whether he wanted to or not. Dante grumbled a bit as his unbuttoned his shirt and slipped it off of himself, looking at the shirt underneath. Even that had somehow magically become dirty. Not as much, but it was still highly noticeable. 'Wonderful...' He thought, barely hearing Sam as she spoke and quickly snapped himself out of it and pushed all thoughts away as he studied the she-wolf while she spoke. Raising a brow, he gave a nervous sort of laugh and rubbed the back of his neck,''A woman I met at the Ball." What more could he say? He didn't know who she was or anything and certainly didn't catch her name. It made him feel just awful for not getting it before she ran off and he wondered if she would have given it to him if he hadn't scared her off. Shaking his head, he heaved a sigh and took a step back,''I'm meeting her at the coffee shop this afternoon but... I don't even know who she is or what she looks like.'' That made him sound rather pathetic and knowing how Sam gets he was expecting her to give him a sharp string of words or a snarky remark, Dante wouldn't even bother arguing against it either. He knew where he had screwed up. Never once did he even take into consideration the similarity of the two scents; the woman he had met and Sam herself, the voices. He was completely unaware that it was in fact Sam that he had met and desperately wanted to meet again.

The male was just about to excuse himself from their little 'conversation', if you could call it that, when out of the blue a large predator made itself known and it definitely had intentions of harming the two wolves. Dante was taken by surprise and as quickly as he could he started brace himself for whatever was to come, no sooner had he moved Sam was already shifted and going after it. It made him gasp softly as realized that she wasn't just attacking it to attack it or protect herself. He noted how she had filled the gap between himself and the bear and it confused him greatly. Here, she hated him, wanted nothing to do with the alpha, and yet she was going after this bear that would have certainly have swiped at him or gone after himself. It took the male a moment to gather his bearings and as soon as he could he shifted forms, while fur replacing his lightly tanned skin, bones snapped as he morphed and two brilliant blues glared at the monster like daggers. His lips pulled back to reveal rows of sharp, yellowed teeth and he charged forward with a snarl aiming for the bear's haunch to get it off balance and get it on the ground. From there, it would be easier to get at its neck and kill it. This was a threat to his pack and he didn't need it killing his wolves. Even Sam.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Samantha Deadwood on June 4th 2014, 11:24 pm

Sam's gaze was on his the whole time from when he took off his shirt, well, his button up not entirely unclothes so she wasn't that distracted. Suddenly her eyes slipped wide open as he talked about the ball. The worst night of her life, alright so it wasn't the worst but still it was second on her list. Her eyes veered away from his form as she began to think about that night. The loud chatter, a mask against her face hiding her identity from everyone. The only person who knew it was her was Aurora, she took in a deep breath, then there was the bet where she had to dance in those awful high heeled shoes that hurt her feet. She then had to dance with Dante, while they were dancing they talked and she had kinda enjoyed it. She swore in her mind, no way was she going to start feeling anything for him. Especially him being the alpha, sure she was pretty much a born alpha herself but she just couldn't. He was her boss and if she didn't like it she could always leave, she had a choice to leave a pack now. If she started to like him, well, she won't have a choice anymore. There is the other fact that she was... she shook that thought away. The reason she left was being of that certain thing and she was never going back, ever. As he finished she swore under her breath, audible this time, she looked up and gave a soft laugh, "Well, do you remember anything about her? Eye color, hair color, anything?" She was afraid. As soon as he found out it was her he was dancing with he would flip out, she couldn't tell him and she sure as hell knew that the girl he was going to try and find wasn't going to be there.

She soon watched as the large bear was tackled by a large white wolf. She snarled lowly and launched as soon as she was able to get a direct attack. She held up her hind legs and she gripped the bears neck. Shaking her head as she ripped at his jugular he wasn't very happy about that. As his claw slipped upwards he began to move his head back and forth a roar coming from him but it was a little gargle from blood filling his throat. She felt a sharp pain against her shoulder and it was traveling downwards to her mid back the bears claws had hooked against her and he was digging them into her form, making the skin break. She yelped and as she did the bear swung his head, she flew towards the ground her body skidding against the dirt. Blood seeped out of her woods and the earth greedily sipped it up, she whimpered softly. The bears eyes landed on her limp body but had turned towards the other wolf. He swiped his large paws and tried to get a scratch of two, Sam on the other hand tried to get up the sharp pain making her fall back down. She growled in annoyance, now smelling the large portion of blood getting spilled, a puddle beneath her paws. Black dots clouded her vision but she managed to get up. The bloody wolf snarled and took another leap towards the bear her jaws sinking into its heel as she took a chunk its blood warm in her mouth. Sam smelt the fear and distraught even could see the doubt and hurt in his eyes. He roared and began to back away for the woods finally it started running. The female looked towards the male once and then fell downwards. She whimpered softly, energy draining from her, "I-I tried... Did the bear get at you?" Her bright grey eyes looking upwards towards him, "Can you bring me home, I can try and fix myself up there." Blood continuing to seep in the ground below her.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on June 6th 2014, 10:12 pm

She was an image that he could not get out of his mind, of course he remembered the little things about the mysterious woman from the ball that he had danced with, Dante could still see her. Odd, how it had never dawned on the male that there were so many similarities between Sam and that gal. Dante grinned like a fool in thought wishing that he could have gotten to see what all she was hiding behind that mask. He most certainly would have if they didn't have their little mishap here."She... She had beautiful, flowing brown hair." He said thoughtfully as he recalled."Her eyes, gorgeous, like miniature moons that had been plucked from the sky." Dante knew he probably sounded ridiculous to Sam at this point; like a pup caught up love or completely twitterpated. She was more than likely just annoyed or disappointed in him. But he didn't care. He went on,"And that voice... Sweet like honey; a symphony to my ears, man, she.. she spoke like an angel.'' Dante really, really, didn't take not of the similarities between her and Sam, not even the irony that was staring him right in the face. How awkward it would be when he found out that it was really her that night that he had danced with and had become infatuated with.

His teeth sank deep within the bear's thick flesh as Dante latched on to it hind leg trying to rip through the muscle to cripple it so that the two of them could keep it there long enough to kill the beast. This was a risk that he just couldn't take to allow it to live here within the territory, he would not be placing his wolves in danger. Dante was not found of murder but he had a good reason. Pulling and tearing and shaking his head back and forth rapidly, he could feel the tendons start to rip apart yet the bear wasn't buckling. Then Sam cried out upon being struck by the bear whom tossed her aside like a rag then turned its attention onto him; he let go of the bear snarling up something fierce his anger rising at how that damn thing attacked his packmate. Sure, they had their differences, but as long as she was a part of his pack she'd get the same treatment and protection that he provided. Dante took a few hits but did not stagger instead he snapped onto the bear's arm and twisted it around till it snapped and became limp and unusable. Baring his fangs he jumped back and hoped that did the trick.

Just then, he saw a flash of black and soon enough Sam was tearing at the bear again causing the damn thing to finally wise up and run away from the wolves. Still, he bared his teeth blood covering the front of his once nice white fur but Dante cared not. His attention turned onto the she-wolf whom was severely injured to the point where she just couldn't stand and Dante quickly padded towards her sniffing at her wounds and inspecting them with lowered ears. He wasn't concerned with his own injuries and just ignored her question while he morphed back, bones popping and snapping back into place while he took on the form of a man again. It would be difficult bringing her back in his other form, this way he could carry the over-sized canine. Dante carefully started to ease the she-wolf into his strong arms being mindful of her injuries.''We have an excellent medic here and he'll see to it that you're patched up properly. Don't fret.'' He told her as he started to take her back to the camp.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Veronica Rose on June 18th 2014, 6:12 pm

hoot...hoot... The night had just arrived as Ricky ran through the forest on high alert. Early that day Veronica was walking through the forest looking for food as she smelled a camp nearby. She moved her hand around and found the food and began to eat, but soon she heard teenage boys yelling at her and it sounded like they was charging at her so she ran. But this had a defect as she tried to run on but one boy cut her right arm with a pocket knife and she yelled with pain. Dodging behind a tree she shifted into her wolf form. Slowly the sounds of the boys was quiet and the territory smelled different, so she shifted back. Now she is running again searching for help and trying to hold onto to something. Veronica's blue hair was wet with sweat and her left hand bloody from her right arm. Getting weak from hungry and loss of blood, she weakly called for help."someone, anyone please come help."Her eyes watered with tears as she could only wait for the sound of a voice or footsteps.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Thane Dracalla on July 14th 2014, 8:52 pm

Thane pads into the packs territory and lets out a long low howl to announce his presence to them so he doesn't stir up anything with the pack. His blue eyes are scanning the woods as he moves inward slowly to make sure he is easy to spot for them. His ears twist to follow sounds around him and his mind was going over the many possibilities that his first encounter with the pack could bring. His paws were moving with practiced ease and lightness to keep from being tracked as easily. Though he was new to the area he was familiar with pack protocol even if his social skills are rusty. He was letting his scent be carried by the wind as well and even was making it carry to the more inner areas of the territory. His tail was held about back's height for now while he sniffs around to scent any approaching wolves.

It had been years since he had visited a pack controlled area and now it seemed to him like he was being childish for being a loner for so long. His mind races as some of his less pleasant memories flash across his mind. He had been through a lot and had the scars to show it, he had nearly died a few times over the centuries. He was hoping that this pack would take him in and give him a place he could call home and even if he was lucky enough he would find a family here. That was the one thing he was wondering if he even deserved anymore of if there was anyone who would be able to put up with him long enough to get to know his true self he keeps hidden away from the world. "Gods grant me some peace in the later years of my life and maybe a little happiness too," he words echo a little through the trees as his prayer is said.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Samantha Deadwood on September 6th 2014, 12:48 am

Sam could tell that he was pretty upset with her by the silent and deadly glare as she starred up at him she tucked her tail between her legs. Her bright silver gaze slide upwards as she gave him those big sappy puppy dog eyes as if that may ease the blow for when he chewed her out. She looked like a whip puppy and she gave a whimper, "I-I-I..." She took in a deep breath and started again, "I am sorry." That's when she closed her eyes as he began to make his way over to her. Body hunkered down but she didn't feel the rage that went with it instead she felt his large form brush up against her own. Black coat gleaming against the little moonlight there was. She eased her form into his side and nuzzled along his flank. As he admitted liking her real self she perked her ears in slight surprise and snorted with an eye roll. Yeah right he could barely stand her, but just him saying that made her heart skip a little beat. She shook her head no... Just by admitting that they liked each other didn't mean they would develop into boyfriend, girlfriend. She then gave a soft snuff, even if she wanted to. Mama always told her men made the first move.

As he maneuvered his form away from her she was a little upset and gave a small grumble as she tried to step back over towards him. Pausing as he made his way to the porch all but to neatly glide and landed a few yards away from her. As he started to wonder off Sam followed close as his heels barely five paces back as she waited for his orders to run. Though as he stopped she did as well and waited for his further instructions. Instead he gave her an innocent suggestion. She glanced at him hesitantly. Male wolves and him didn't really match together well and she gave a small sniff in protest, "I'm coming." She snapped out. It wasn't open for discussion she was joining him whether he liked it or not. Easing her form against his brushing her smaller form on him every now and again she lowered her stance. Her body pounced upwards when a bellowing howl rang out to warn the other that they were on their way.

She soon began to take up the long run towards the border her house was in the back of the territory far off from neighboring werewolves and other things she was preferably a loner sort of wolf where although she looked cute and friendly she was really a bitch. Gliding along the forest she was a little faster then Dante considering the size and made it towards the border with a skidding halt. Her ears flickered and nostrils flared as she began to listen and find his scent. The she-wolf soon found the other and she slowly bounded towards him cation in her strides and she soon found herself looking straight in front of her. She didn't speak just slowly lowered to her haunches as she stood watch other Dante. Chest out, shoulders squared, and tail and ears perked ready to act when needed her teeth showed every now and again when she yawned or licked at her muzzle but she still didn't say anything just watched him, study. He was a rather attractive wolf and being a female still in heat no doubt he could probably smell that distinctive Oder, great she completely forgot about that. She shifted slightly and then have a small sniff maybe he wouldn't  notice.

(One short but completed post. Now off to bed I'm tired)

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on September 21st 2014, 4:25 am

She-wolves... so damn stubborn. Dante scoffed at the thought, it seemed that they all were like that though some more than others. He would admit that he could be too but not nearly as much as a female. A small smirk played at his lips for a quick moment before disappearing as the two of them made their way closer and closer to the edge of the territory where a howl had sounded out. He was in deed quite tired after tonight but he would get over it so long as there was a stranger near their lands. The male was on high alert ever since that Ty fellow betrayed his trust and nearly killed one of Dante's wolves, a very dear one at that, and he was not about to let something like that happen again. Due to the fact that this loner was most definitely a male, he would make sure that this one understood that he would not tolerate any traitors. Just thinking about all of that sent Dante into a mood and caused the alpha to growl out. Between that and the ever so strong urge to chase and/or fight any other male that came close to Sam while she was still in heat. If it wasn't for his wolf's natural instincts he probably wouldn't be nearly as moody. Maybe...

Dante's leathery nostrils flared as he took a deep inhale to see just how close the new wolf was or if he had moved on or not, it appeared that the male was still there. Glancing towards Sam, he picked up speed when she sped on by him and didn't feel comfortable with her going first. Things could happen. Gazing out ahead of them he spotted the male that had howled and kept his eyes on him; His hackles rose and he brought his tail over his back as he approached standing in a proud manner with head held high. His pristine white fur easily stood out against the darkness and before he neared the male he made sure to brush up against the she-wolf's side like he had back at the house. Dante wanted to make it clear that this piece of tail was claimed and he was prepared to fight if it came down to that. A growl rumbled out from the large brute as he stared the other male down, making mental notes on the other from what he could see."What business do you have on our land?" He asked in a low tone, keeping his own bright blue gaze on the unnamed male's.

(Sam, your's is anything but short, this post right here is short lol.)

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Thane Dracalla on September 29th 2014, 8:55 am

Thane had been standing where he was for a while but he also knew that it wasn't unusual for an Alpha to make a newcomer wait a bit to see if they were serious or not. The sound of approaching wolves had his ears perked and he did nothing to hide himself from them, no point in making himself look shifty or possibly hostile. His instincts had the winds changing direction to carry their scents to him and allow him to tell how many were approaching him and their genders. He could pick up the scents of a male and a female coming to meet him and it seemed the female was in heat, a distraction he didn't need right now.

As they both appear before him he shifts his weight and was ready to run if he needed to. The female seemed to arrive shortly before the male and now that she was here her scent was stronger but so was the scent of the other male on her. He tilts his head as he looks at the female but as the male shows up he turns his attention fully to him, his eyes only meeting Dante's for a second or two before he averts them. Bowing his head to the Alpha and keeping his tail slightly raised but nothing that would be challenging he answers the question asked of him, "My name is Thane and I've come to seek your permission to join you pack Alpha." He called him by title due to the fact that Dante felt like an Alpha and held himself as one, though being possessive of Samantha who he seemed to be mated with.

The she-wolf felt the strange wolf's maneuver over her and she gave a soft smirk of her fuzzy lips. Giving an easy show of her large teeth she resettled them down and ran her tongue around her muzzle. Bright silver wolf-eyes watching the other closely yet from a distance. Samantha soon peered her head around as the large opposite color of her own dark pelt came from the thicket. She was smaller then him however, larger then most females. She moved on all fours as the male-wolf approached and slid his white coat against her own. She leaned into his touch and gave a soft nip against his flank.

She wasn't owned by him, at least that's what the wolf inside her was thinking. Sam on the other hand was just confused as to what she wanted from Dante. Would this mean they were friends with benefits and if so they were pretty deep in there. Her female parts were still a little sore from tonight's activities and the she-wolfs hormones kept seeping from her form in waves. She gave a low snuff as she slid her ears back. Male wolves and hell sometimes even female wolves would go crazy with just the whiff of a female in heat. It had already happened, she stayed her distance but had moved a little closer towards Dante. Samantha saw him with the last male who trudged in this terrain wanting to be part of the pack. Faolan... That was his name.

She then heard his deep voice rumble out demanding on what this wolf wanted. She gave a small tilt of her head and slowly leaned her head forward her nostrils widening as she took in the others scent. The she-wolf who was quiet at the moment stirred at the thought of another male. Her wolf side, was a complete slut when she was in heat last time she had been in heat was horrible. She gave a small growl, to the wolf inside her to knock it off. She did not want Dante to think he would have to fight the male wolf just because the heated female was a horny tramp. She backed herself away from the two though kept herself close incase Dante needed her assistance, continuing to keep quiet. Of course these two wolves weren't mated... At least, no, strictly friends with benefits at the moment. They had just gotten done hating each other, well, not really if it wasn't for the sudden need to get in his pants they would still be at each others throats. However, Sam was actually getting used to Dante before the hook-up.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on October 6th 2014, 1:56 pm

Dante waited slightly impatiently for the male to state what reason he had here on his pack's territory the tip of his tail flicking. Mental notes were made on the outsider as he sized him up and evaluated whether it would be easy or not to put the brute in the ground should the moment arise. As cocky as it sounded, he knew he could. There wasn't even a sliver of doubt in the alpha's mind that if there was a fight he would put the other in his place. Rolling his shoulders he let out another low growl once the male spoke and slowly Dante started to move to the right taking slow, careful steps. More or less, he was looking the brute over, now known as Thane, very closely at that. If there were any visible weaknesses he was going to find them. Coming to a stop in front of the other male once again his eyes burned down onto the loner as his growls continued,"Really now?" He asked, voice deep and somewhat sarcastic,"Give me one good reason why I should allow that; why I should let in a pile of flesh and fur that ended up on my doorstep." The alpha was pushing the other to get some sort of reaction out of him, to see if he would either break or continue to be submissive.

Most of his actions were driven by past events; how he had trusted a stranger and in turn one of his wolves was nearly killed and later went missing. Something in him snapped and ever since he had never been the same. Dante could never go back to being easy going about letting wolves in. More than ever now he was more apt to protect the ones he had... However, his actions were also guided by a particular she-wolf in a certain condition; in other words he was hot to trot and damn well ready to act on instinct. The wolf in him anyways, his inner canine, it desired any and all females that it caught scent of and lately with the camp full of them it was driving it wild. Dante was the opposite and was trying hard not to let his wolf get the best of him though sometimes it was difficult. He was aware that he was nearly sterile so participating during the rut was really pointless, aside from just being a good time. Shifting his weight he stayed near Sam and readied himself just in case anything were to happen.

Looking at Dante as he obviously sizes him up he shifts the winds to get a better scent of the two of them without it being overly obvious to them, it was a bad idea. The scent of the female was strong and his attention was drawn to her and without thinking about it he moves closer to her openly scenting the air about her to confirm what he smelled. His ears turn forward and he starts to try and circle her, his instincts were stronger than his reason at the moment and not letting him keep from angering the Alpha who's scent was on the female as well. He didn't care at the moment about that either all he wanted was to get closer to the female that was in front of him now, he had encountered other females in heat but it hadn't bothered him like this before. He wasn't sure if it was because of how close they were right now or because he was finally open to the thought of a family of his own, either way this was going to cause him a little trouble with the Alpha. "You brought one that is in heat with you.....she doesn't smell like she is mated....wonder if she is at her peek still or has she not reached it yet," his words were his thoughts and he didn't notice that he was saying them out loud for both of them to hear. He wasn't intentionally ignoring Dante but it must have appeared that way to those that were watching him.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

The she-wolf had watched the two closely especially Dante she knew he would go after the male in a heartbeat if he so much as stepped out of line. She maneuvered her silver gaze towards the male wolf, who know was known as Thane, as he seemed to lower himself submissively towards the larger male. He was in good shape his muscles were under the males thick coat. She gave a small smirk the wolf inside her giving off fumes of her pheromones. Samantha perked her ears as the alpha spoke and she leaned herself forward. Giving a soft snort as she slowly moved her eyes back to the male. That's when she was locked eye to eye with the male. Though she noticed that Dante had side stepped to move closer towards her. She gave a nervous bark as she knew that she was indeed giving off a lot of pheromones especially since she was just sitting down. The wind blowing towards the two males her pulled her ears down. Instincts. That's what it all came down to.

Samantha soon found herself being circled by Thane the she wolf slowly pulled herself to her feet her tail pulled under in between her legs but the wolf inside her kept trying for control. She perked her ears in the new males direction watching him closely as he began to move, almost doing a semi-circle considering Dante was on her other side. Her tail flickered revealing, every now and then, her sex. The black furred she-wolf gave a soft grunt and as he spoke her ears flickered as Thane said something. She gave a small roll of her eyes, "I'm right here you know." She said her tail lashing lightly behind her and then the wolf jolted the she-wolf inside her had began to take charge her eyes turning gold instead of the regular silver as she began to lean forward sniffing at the loner male. She gave a soft smirk and began to move forward pressing her nose at his neck fur and giving a soft nip. She soon backed off as Sam got a hold of herself and moved to be next to Dante. She touched at his flank and was a little nervous we acted upon instincts so therefore instincts meant fighting for a mate. Samantha's wolf began to brush against her humanity as she gave a flick of her tail, the she-wolf wish to see which one is more masculine then the other.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on November 1st 2014, 10:11 pm

Right now, he wasn't caring for how the male was beginning to act and his inner canine was being very... possessive of the she-wolf that he had brought with him tonight. Or rather, the one that tagged along despite him. Dante's black lips pulled away to reveal his sharp, yellow canines hackles raising and he sent a snarl towards Thane in warning as he did not answer him fast enough and seemed to have his eyes trained on Sam. She did not belong to him at all, they may have admitted that they liked each other back at the camp but there was no relationship established. They were basically friends with benefits right now. His wolf however saw it differently and thought the she-wolf belonged to it. That was what his actions were based on now; raw instinct influenced by a moody and highly irritated canine. Dante kept his unforgiving gaze on the male and as he seemed to think out loud to it only pissed the alpha male off; he noticed how Thane seemed to circle 'his' female and snarled again. This time, the she-wolf moved forward to meet the male and Dante didn't care for that much either. He quickly moved forward to try and get between them when Sam returned to him and gave a little snap at her to stay back. Now facing the other male he bared his fangs and charged forward, snapping at him as well but with the intent to get a good hold on him and inflict damage. Dante wanted to put this rogue in his place and make sure that he understood that he was not going to tolerate someone messing with 'his' property.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Angeli Wolfencross on November 3rd 2014, 11:25 pm

((Sorry if there are any mistakes. I am on an IPad and used to my comfy desktop which chose this month to completley break down(it involved by lil'brother, but that's besides the point.) So, again, sorry.))

Angeli had crossed the border warily, cautiously, some time after her encounter with a male wolf. After taking time to make a decision, she had moved on to search for the pack, or packs of this area herself. Tired of waiting for chance to bring her by one of the pack wolves. She'd followed a scent for a short while, stopping to rest and get herself a meal, thinking it wouldn't be right to arrive with an empty stomach, even if her prey was from their territory, but what they didn't know couldn't hurt them could it? She'd buried the bones a ways of, then made her way back to their lands, following the scents for just a bit more before she heard some noise.

She hadn't shifted back to her human form for about four days, and wasn't going to do it now unless she had some privacy and clothing to change into, both of which she knew she probably didn't have. She approached the noise to find herself a couple of yards away from two males and a female, one reeking of dominance, probably the alpha, as his scent was similar to the females, and a loner, which she assumed by the difference in scents. Immediately upon confirming that the she-wolf between them was in heat, she began to form the idea of a barrier between her and them in her mind, preparing herself for what might end up as a fight.

What had been just a small , nearly insignificant pheromone/scent just days ago, was now a powerful signal that she was in heat, and somehow seemed to emit that she was an untouched female. She was, thankfully, in a position where her scent blew away from them, and if anything reached the males, she hoped they'd mistake it for the golden eyed girl's scent. She watched, hiding herself the tiniest bit by leaning into some bushes, but not much as she didn't want the alpha to think she was a spy, if he was here, or for the 'scouts' as she'd temporarily nicknamed them to think so and report to whomever was in charge.

Eva had been weary as to make herself known or just stay hidden. Soon she let her instincts take over and she came from the bushes and saw three wolves and she smelled the air and realized there was an Alpha and a Eta and then a loner. Ears and tail low she remained a good distance away but enough to were they could hear her and see her.

She looked between them and made sure her head was low and that she did not make direct eye contact with the higher ranking wolves. "Hello. I wish to join your pack." She spoke in a direct but respectful tone. She knew that respect was absolute in a pack.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Thane Dracalla on November 20th 2014, 6:28 pm

Thane looked at the male as he lunged at him and didn't move since his common sense had slipped back into place as he was confronted and let him bite him without a fight and it hurt. He slightly bared his teeth on top of letting out a low growl that was more from pain than from him being aggressive now. He used the pain to root himself in the now and not let the scent of the female distract him again, he was on his last stretch before finding a home and he couldn't afford to lose this chance.

Backing away from the alpha and putting his ears back lowering his tail and head as well he shows sign of submission and that he understood that she was off limits now, mated or not. The sounds of other wolves approaching had his ears on a swivel now though as he was on the defensive in the event that they were enemies. Drawing the winds towards him to scent them while keeping his eyes on the form of the alpha he found out that they were not pack and that they were not a threat though the scents of at least one of them being in heat distracted him momentarily. He shook his head and stuffed his nose in the dirt to make himself sneeze before he shook out his coat and started to shift to his human form, the bones in his body twisting, cracking, breaking and eventually shifting into those of a human. The hair on his body receding into his skin while that skin stretched and contorted into the covering for the muscles that writhed under it as he finished his shift. Not seeming to care if he was barely dressed thanks to the rags he had on and the cloak he normally wore.

Standing there before the alpha was a 6'3" male with a toned and scarred body, seemingly not bothered by the temperature around him. He tilts his head to the side far enough that his neck cracks and then stretches before he takes a knee, head bowed and one arm placed on the ground, "Seeing as my instincts are causing me problems with my self control this form should smooth things over for the rest of this encounter." He had a wound on his neck from the bite that was still bleeding and though he normally would have tended to it he let it be for now. He looked in the direction of both females that were sort of hiding from them and smiles a little, "It seems I'm holding up the line." His attempt at humor may or may not be a good thing to do right now but the change of form was needed and so was a change of his attitude at least for now.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

She watched as the alpha began to barrel towards her and Thane to try and keep them away from one another. As she retreated and was quickly snapped at to stay back she slowly lowered herself in submission, tail tucked and ears flat. As Dante had made up his mind to attack the lesser male she perked herself up and waited for a fight but there was none. Thane had quickly given up on it and just took the beating Dante had given him. As she waited for Dante to finish with the lesser male she paused as she noticed another she-wolf eyeing the alpha and she bared her fangs towards the she-wolf. Eyes glowing yellow, then her eyes went towards another she-wolf who was beginning to go towards the fight. Hauling her form over towards her she starred darkly and snapped for her to back up. Hackles raising she swished her tail in annoyance as she continued forward getting the girl to back up. If she started something with her she would take care of it. Being larger then most females, at least in this form, she puffed herself up to make herself look larger.

Eyes continuing to stare down at the two females if they tried anything to get near Dante as he was busy at the moment. Her large wolf form continued to move pacing back and forth as she watched out for the two. Sniffing softly she noticed another wolf was in the same predicament as her but it wasn't very strong so perhaps she was hiding it or had just started getting in heat. Her tail swished with annoyance as her eyes moved towards the other black she-wolf. She snarled darkly her ears flat against her skull as her hackles continued to rise as she snuffed with annoyance. Finally she just ignored the small female though something clung to her a certain scent. Her eyes widened but she couldn't get a good enough scent to confirm it was her brother or not.

As Thane began to shift into human she moved away from the other wolves and returned towards Dante. She soon perked her ears in the direction as a heavy scream laced the air, "Zoey?" She questioned and her nostrils flared her "daughter" was in trouble and she growled darkly. Quickly the she-wolf gave out a bellowing howl as she charged after what was hurting her pup. She was in mother instincts even though the stitches against her told her not to push herself she didn't care. Instead she ran faster, Dante could handle himself. Besides if he was into the other female in heat what was she to stop him, though thinking of the thought made her angry and upset at the same time. She flattened her large form to the ground to go faster it seemed to come from the waterfall area.

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Dante Hawthorne on November 23rd 2014, 8:42 pm

The male was in full on assault mode and was ready to tear the other a new one and if he lost control of himself he could potentially kill him too; the loner's actions almost confused him but Dante didn't stop. Even when the other got into a submissive posture Dante still lashed out at him just for good measure. He wasn't going to go easy on him just because he had so quickly chosen to obey and back off of Sam. If he was in the same position he would have done the same just to save his own ass and take a few good bites as punishment; he had done the very same before. Dante tasted something metallic and knew that he had broke through when he bit down finally and gave the lesser male a good, quick shake. Again, all for good measure. When he was satisfied that his point had been made he let go of Thane and backed up, still baring his teeth he curled his tail over his back as he stood there watching him with unwavering blue orbs. He was trying to see if it really was a ruse to get him to back off. But as far as he could tell, it didn't appear to be one. Dante went with his gut and somewhat trusted the other as he seemed to shift forms now, revealing his human form to him. It would have been easy to dispose of him this way so he knew that this male had really given up. However, Dante refused to show his human form to the other and so he remained the way that he was even as the other spoke. Dante just nodded towards him and stepped forward,"That one in particular is off limits." He said motioning his head to Sam."I care not if you go after the others, if you cannot help yourself." His humanity was not interested in the other she-wolves around the camp that had came into season, but his wild side sure as hell was. The struggle was real for Dante this time of year. That was all he had to say to Thane at this point but he still accepted him into the pack.

The alpha's attention swerved over to the two other wolves that had found their way to his lands, both females, and did not notice if they were in season or not; Sam's strong scent was the only one he could smell at this point. Dante looked between them and gave them a quick look over before he  spoke, his inner canine being relatively tame for the moment. He was normally easy on she-wolves and didn't care if that made him look unfair to the others; that was just how he was. Dante licked his lips and kept his eyes on them,"Come closer." Boomed the male, but not in an aggressive manner."I will speak with the both of you in the camp. You, too, Thane. We must discuss ranks." The words had barely escaped him when he swore he heard a scream cut through the night and as Sam bolted away he watched her, worried, but did not have time to call out for his... Well he didn't know what to call her. Love interest, perhaps? He gave a small whine but allowed her to go and turned to lead the others back towards the inner territory.

Than just kept his head bowed and once the Alpha turned to lead them back to towards his territory he stands and follows, staying in his human form still though since he couldn't trust himself to keep his instincts under control. He didn't say a word to any one while he walked and didn't see to mind that it was going this way, hell a small bit of blood shed wasn't a huge deal for him. He kept the females withing auditory range for now though since he didn't trust them any more than he did the Alpha, which wasn't that surprising for him due to he long stint as a loner.

(I know it is really short, transitioning to Dante's home for the placement interviews)

Re: Borderline - Werewolf Territory

Post by Angeli Wolfencross on November 27th 2014, 5:26 am

(No offense intended Sammy, but Angeli is anything but small.)

Angeli watched what was happening, intrigued by how he alpha dealt with the male loner. She noticed the new, smaller she wolf, but paid her no mind. She was more interested in the reaction of the other ebony wolf. The one who seemed to be claimed by the alpha. Though she was of considerable size, Angeli was bigger, and in no way about to submit to the cocky gal. Her fur rose, bristling, he air around her thickened as she growled a warning. Pressure was being applied to the she-wolf by the very force that protected Angeli, the barrier strengthening, but not fully extending. Her eyes flashed ,changing into a deep shade of violet as she prepared herself for a fight. She saw the she-wolds eyes widen, and though she would have liked to believe it was she who caused the reaction, she sensed t was something else as she completely stepped out of her semi-hiding place, which no longer offered cover. She Had her head lowered a bit to protect her throat, but even then she was still a tad taller than the other golden eyed wolf.

As a scream laced the air, Angeli straightened, her ears perking up, catching the sharp and ringing sound. Her gaze caught the movement of the onyx wolf, the quick movement and then speedy dash of the she-wolf to protect another . Her attention turned back to the alpha, or her gaze did at least. Angeli felt a small battle inside her, one side pulling to help the wolf who just moments before had threatened in her dash to save whom was presumably her pup, and the other to stay and speak to the alpha male.  Flicking her tail restlessly, she gained her composure and focused her attention on the two males, dismissing the shifting wolf after such a display of submission and weakness.

Thoughts flitted by in her mind, that even if she left a few minutes after this moment, she might still be able to catch up the  wolf protector, as shed subconsciously dubbed the golden-eyed huntress. As the alpha spoke, she growled lowly at him sry quietly, then bared he fangs at the other male threateningly, snarling loudly for good measure. She was definitely off limits.

As he asked her -them- to Clem closer, she took one pawstep forward , hesitantly, growling noticeably . She would definitely  not be happy if it was some sort of trick. At the same time, her nostrils caught a word of the she-wolfs scent, beneath the thick scent of being in heat, there was he strong scent -wait- feeling of a motherly need to protect.  It was strong reaching into her and making her speak out her next words without thought.

"I-I'll be back" immediately, she stuck her muzzle in the air, catching the remains of the scent before instantly dashing off, speedier the female had and prodded along by a strong urge to help an innocent an possibly stop a bloody ending. It might've been obvious whom she chased after, but her reasons may nit have been as visible. To the others, she might've just run off, or chased to stop the shadow colored wolf. Or it could've been evident by her previous struggle that she had gone to help.
